Welcome to Our Gathering Place, the quilt shop where quilters love to gather and share their ideas, talents and dreams.  Our shelves are overflowing with over 4000 bolts of the finest cotton fabrics available, quilt kits galore and numerous Blocks of the Month programs. 

Reproduction Fabrics, Civil War Fabrics, Wools, Flannels . . .
We aim to please with our Batiks, florals, flannel fabrics and the best selection of reproduction fabrics and Civil War fabrics around.  Fabric lines from Moda, Benartex, P&B Textiles, Hoffman, Marcus Brothers, RJR, Baum Textiles and others help to create the quilt of your dreams.  Our wool selection offers both the pastel purples, pinks, and yellows or those deep, warm reds, blues and greens.  In addition, we carry a large selection of quilt kits, books, patterns and supplies. 

Quilt Kits
Quilt kits are another of our specialties. We supply quilt kits for simple seasonal tablerunners and placemats, true-to-life paper pieced bear and deer wall quilts, quilt kits for babies and quilt kits for Mothers. We know these quilt kits are a blessing for those busy quilters on the go.

Block of the Month
We offer unique Block of the Month clubs. Using a variety of fabrics and themes, we entice even the most reluctant quilter to join in the fun. Check out the selections on the “Product” page.                                                                                

Classes
Both the novice and experienced quilter are inspired with our class variety. Our  teachers are the best with several teachers nationally known  for their quilting expertise. Our goal is to inspire, teach, challenge and to share our love of quilting.  Oh, and to have fun in doing so!

Fun Groups To Join
At Our Gathering Place, we have several groups that meet regularly for fun, learning and community service. We hope you join in a group or two, make new quilting friends and enjoy the day.

Join our VIP (Vintage Inspired Piecers) Group on the 2nd Wed. of each month from 10-noonish. Join Judith Youngman and others to explore vintage fabrics and quilt design. Each month, you will receive a new pattern and plenty of ideas to get you started on your very own reproduction quilt.

Our Garden Club is a group that began with the Grandmother's Flower Garden but continues to meet with hand sewing projects to gather ideas, share in show and tell and make new quilting friends. This group is free and meets the 3rd Fri. of each month. You can find more groups to join on our “News” page and we hope to see you soon.

Hosanna Stitchers meet the 3rd Wednesday evening of each month from 6:30-8:30 pm. Join in the companionship of other quilters to create a quilt to donate to a cause of our choice. Our quilts have been donated to the local Cancer Treatment Center, the childrens' room at a local library, the Breast Center and Relay for Life. We stitch, solve the problems of the world and sample tasty treats while we work on our next quilt.

Friendship Gathering meets the 4th Friday of every month from 10-2. Everyone works on a project of their choice without any interruptions, except for the show and tell of other quilters. We have fun, learn from each other and get our projects finished too! Free, but call to reserve your place.

Meet Our Talented Staff
With our knowledgeable and friendly staff, we hope your quilting experience with us is right up there with the best.  Pictured in the group photo above are Nancy Cellini, Nancy Bobst, Mary Fischer, Judith Youngman, Wendy Etzel (seated) and Veronica Jones, Jacalyn Street, Wanda Hendershot, Bonita Whipple, and Chris Kroboth (standing).  This quilt in classic blue and white color scheme was designed with a wide variety of reproduction fabrics. The quilt features the Goose in the Pond block and was made by Bonita Whipple. Pictured to the right are Nancy Cellini, Mary Fischer, and our UPS favorite, Carl.

Directions to our Quilt Shop
From 220North/180 East, take exit 20 which is Fairfield Rd. At the end of the ramp, turn right. Go 3/4 mile. You will come to a "T" in the road. Turn right. You will be on Broad Street in Montoursville. Go 3/4 mile and on the left will be Savoy Plaza. We are located in that plaza. If you are traveling 180West/220South, you turn left at the end of the ramp and follow the same instructions.
